We ventured out this past weekend and decided to hit the mall. I always forget what a fun place it is for the kids. I, on the other hand, am always completely worn out by the time we leave, but that's probably due to the fact that I need to exercise instead of blogging while the kids are napping! What fun is that?
Anyway, here's a look inside of the mall adventure...
As the elevator doors close, Logan realizes we just boarded one crazy ride! The contraption moves, and Logan gasps and sways while saying "Whoa!" A "ding" is heard signally the next part of the exciting ride. When the elevator doors open, Logan cautiously walks up to the edge of the elevator. Looks down at what must seem like the impossible. Sizes up the situation. Musters up a whole lot of courage. Bends his little legs in anticipation of the inevitable.
Ponders to himself I think I can...I think I can!
And then, like someone jumping out of a plane for the first time, he takes a wild leap of faith...literally! Once his feet land safely on the other side, he looks up oh so proudly and screams..."YEAH!" He overcame his fear and is ecstatic about his accomplishment. He wants to turn around and ride the elevator all over again!
Don't you just love the determination of toddlers and their desire to never give up...even if it means jumping over the Nile in a single bound?!
